McNabb benched for rest of year

Posted by eric on December 22, 2010 at 6:36 AM Comments comments (2)

Donovan McNabb will be demoted to third string QB for rest of season which is only 2 more games but it is what it is.A guy who is starter whole career doesn't usually go from #1 to #3 in football ever and this was shock to McNabb. So now the question is does Donovan McNabb play for Washington next year or moves on again with other team.In my opinion I think he winds up either in Minnesota or San Fran.

TO done for last 2 games of season

So (TO) Terrell Owens season is over after tearing his meniscus. He most likely won't be back in Cincinnati.Any ideas where he will play next yr or will no team pick him up.I think somone will sign him cause if you look at numbers he put up nice ones for team who was finished 6-7 weeks into season. In my opinion is top 10 reciever in league even at his age.

The Miami Heat are finally playing the way everyone expected since they acquired Lebron James and Chris Bosh to the mix with Dwyane Wade. The Heat are now 18-8 and lead the league in fewest points allowed with 90.1.Miami has now won 9 straight and hope to keep the winning going when they play Cleveland on wednesday night.

Cliff Lee shuns NY Yankees and Texas for Phillies

Posted by eric on December 14, 2010 at 1:11 PM Comments comments (4)

Cliff Lee shocks everyone and goes back to Phillies. All the talk for last two weeks was he was going to sign with the Texas Rangers or NY Yankees but goes back to Philadelphia. This just makes it harder for the N.L. East and for my Mets.Phillies are defintely the team to beat in National League hands down.

Posted by eric on December 9, 2010 at 6:24 AM Comments comments (2)

Carl Crawford is officially a Boston Red Sox.He will sign 7 yr 142 million deal.Honestly Yankees didn't need him so them not getting Crawford won't hurt them in any way.

Jayson Werth signs with Nationals for 7 YRS 126 MILLION.I think its a good signing just feel they gave him to much money.we We will see how this pans out in future and this year.

Adrian Gonzalez heading to Boston

So it appears the Red Sox have traded for Padres Adrian Gonzalez..This is a great pickup for Boston.I think Gonzalez is a good all around player and will have big year for the Red Sox.

Mariano Rivera resigns with Yankees

Mariano Rivera has resigned with the Yankees for reported 2yr 30 million deal. Not a Yankee fan but Rivera is Rivera. The guy is just that good.

Lebron returns to where his career started

Posted by eric on December 3, 2010 at 6:25 AM Comments comments (2)

I don't care what people say about him.Lebron did his thing last night in Cleveland by dropping 38 points and 24 in third quarter.I'm not a Lebron fan but have to give credit where credit is due.I don't even think Cleveland wins without Lebron on the court for Miami.I guess Cleveland you needed Lebron more than he needed you.Don't get me wrong i think he left the wrong way and has to win in Miami, but what can you do.Guys leave teams all the time for similar reasons so can't really bash him.I would say only a Cleveland fan should bash him the way things went.

New Sunday Night Baseball Crew

Posted by eric on December 1, 2010 at 11:35 PM Comments comments (1)

When baseball comes around again there will be new crew calling the games. The three guys who will be calling the games will be Bobby Valentine,Dan Shulman, and Orel Hershiser.I think they will do good job,but i would of prefered two guys instead of three.I don't think we need three guys calling a baseball game even though my Mets have three guys who in my opinion are great. We will see how this works once it starts.
